The weather is bad and ‘ways be foul’ though no ’staring owls’ to frighten you, provided you live in London, only Mistress Rebecca’s unfortunate habit of quoting poetry. However I have this under control and won’t do so during your session.

I need to get a new pair of thigh boots. I realise these are essential, but its no easy task finding the perfect pair (and Mistress Rebecca is a perfectionist).

Other news is that an elephant trod on my Palm (my handheld not my hand ha ha).

Those who visit me know that I keep notes of sessions cunningly disguised under whatever false name you give me (or usually just your first real name) plus the last four digits of your phone number.

This meant that I can access them but should I lose the Palm there would be no way that anyone would ever link the notes with you.

I found that doing this made sessions very interesting. I could put notes down if I thought something had gone well, or if an idea of mine went down like a lead balloon, then I could make sure  that I didn’t repeat it.

And if a slave who was into CP misbehaved then I could ensure that,  however long he left it before his next visit, he would still get his well deserved punishment.

And it was also handy for noting any health issues, so if someone had a bad knee I would know not to put him in any sort of bondage that would stress it out.

And of course it was great for planning fun surprises for future sessions.

And if someone only liks to visit occasionally, it meant that I would not forget that he liked CBT but loathed NT and CP (or whatever particular combination the slave enjoys)

And slaves hate it if a Mistress asks them what they want in a middle of a session. Because what the slave wants is for you to take control and force them to submit to all their favourite activities. So if  you have a record of what they enjoy then you never need to ask.

But alas my trusty old Palm has bit the dust.

So if there is a slave out there with an old Palm that they don’t want (with the battery still able to retain a charge) Mistress would be very grateful for it.

Palm no longer make their handhelds so (if no slave turns up to the rescue) then I need to find something else to replace it. I am wondering whether an IPod would do the job. However obviously I have no requirement for noting people’s addresses, phone numbers etc (those slaves who like me to note their phone numbers have them listed on my mob) but need a large  capacity for notes.

So more shopping for Mistress. Time to hit those sales.

I found the venue quite fascinating and loved the dilapidated elegance of the place.

The costumes as usual were simply amazing, but I am happy to say I had by far the best mask.

I expected that everyone would have one of these (well everyone who was at Skin Two Expo 2007 where they were being sold by Antrobus and Grimm) but mine was the only one there.

Its a work of art, is made of leather and is green and gold and was absolutely perfect for the Skin Two Masked Ball.

It looks to me like the one on their display at Skin Two Expo. Everyone including me was desperately trying to buy it, but it wasn’t quite finished and they refused to sell.

There was a huge crowd at Skin Two Rubber Ball 2009, and at some points it was difficult getting in and  out of the various rooms. I also saw a number of old friends, which is always lovely.

I do not intend publishing the name of the website as I do not wish to send them business. My purpose in publishing this blog is to make it clear that I am not linked to these websites in any way at all.

IIs it to trawl the internet for Pro Dom websites and then fire off emails asking them to take you on as their private slave?

Well, before you start doing this, stop and think for a moment.

And put yourself in the pro dom’s shoes (boots)

There you are working happily at whatever job it is that you do. Out of the blue you get an email from a woman you have never met.

She tells you that because of your job, she has decided that you and she are going to be perfect together.

Do you say to yourself – ‘wow what an opportunity – l’ll get in touch with her immediately so we can start enjoying life together’

Or do you say ‘my God what a loony’ and hit the delete button?

If you do want a BDSM lifestyle relationship then the key to finding one lies in the word ‘relationship’ rather than ‘BDSM’ or ‘lifestyle’.

Because without a relationship you are not going to get ongoing BDSM from a lifestyler.

And there are no short cuts to finding a relationship.

There has to be mutual attraction, shared interests, similar background/upbringing and. that elusive extra, pheromones. Plus sexual compatibility of course. When most, or all, of these are present you will get a good relationship.

But you will not find a BDSM lifestyle relationship by sending out emails to pro doms,  hoping that some woman who has never met you, will want to get involved with you.

You are going to have to make an effort. Go to munches, clubs, fetish markets and other fetish events, these are places where dominant women will go and where you can meet them.

And remember, if you are feeling absolutely desperate for domming then visiting a pro dom (before looking for a BDSM lifestyle relationship) is a very good idea. Because it will take the edge off your need and make you feel less desperate.

And there is nothing more off putting to a relationship than desperation.

Because from time to time I come across a reference to a situation where parents are involving their teenage children in aspects of their sexuality.

I am not talking about paedophilia. I am talking about parents taking teenagers to fetish clubs or involving them in their work in the sexual services industry etc.

Before embarking on this sort of behaviour ask yourselves one question. Did you want to be involved in your parents sexual activities?

If they had taken you to a wife swapping party full of old wrinklies when you were eighteen – would you have had a good time?

You might be saying to yourself – well I wouldn’t have wanted to be taken to a wife swapping party full of old wrinklies – but if they had taken me to a fetish event full of people in their thirties that would have been different. 

But that is to assume that your teenage children share your particular sexual interest. They may not do so, anymore than you shared that of your parents. And, when you are in your teens, anyone over thirty is an old wrinklie.

Apart from this, even if your children are into kink/fetish they are not going to want to be involved in your kink and fetish. They will want to establish a separate one of their own.

Remember also that you are building bridges with regard to future interactions. When you are old and vulnerable do you want children who decide what is good for you regardless of your preferences?

Or do you want children who will think about you as an individual with desires and wishes which may be different from theirs?

Treat your children with sensitivity now and they will treat you with sensitivity later on.

If you really want inter-generational sexual exchange of confidences, then discuss your sexuality with your parents. Who knows, they may have been waiting all these years for you to broach the topic.

And leave it up to your children to do likewise in their turn.
